The Montana ban calls for a $10,000 fine for each violation of the prohibition against using and downloading TikTok in the state, defined as any time “a user accesses TikTok, is offered the ability to access TikTok, or is offered the ability to download TikTok.” The penalties will be enforced against the company and mobile app stores, i.e.
